The Approach Shot

Pebble Beach & Monterey

Pebble Beach Golf Links

Coastal classic

Pebble is the headline and the reason most groups come. The coastline holes earn the reputation. The 7th, 8th, 17th, and 18th are not hype; they are American golf theater. The inland holes are more ordinary than the mythology suggests. That does not ruin the experience. It just means you should understand what you are buying.

You are buying memory, setting, history, and the right to stop pretending you do not care about the photograph. That is enough, once.

My best friend & I had lunch at the Bench. It was a picture perfect day. We dined on a Monday in October. The restaurant was not crowded, the food & the service was great. Not too expensive for the most gorgeous view!! Highly recommend!
