Pebble Beach & Monterey
Pasatiempo
Golden Age hillside architecture
Pasatiempo is not in Monterey, and that matters. But for architecture-minded players, it may be the smartest add on the whole trip. MacKenzie lived along the 6th fairway, and the recent restoration pushed the course closer to its original intent.

If your group knows MacKenzie, build around it. If they do not, do not force the drive just to sound sophisticated.

Great course my favorite in Northern California, incredible conditions and really fun holes although very pricey at $450 a round. Greens are diabolical given it’s a Mackenzie track and pin placements can be really challengingl. Play from the whites if you’re not a single digit HC

Top 3 favorite course on my list, such a great experience. My 2nd time playing it, the course remodel is awesome, little more forgiving which was needed. They did a great job, employees were great, swag/logo is top notch. Can’t say enough good things about Pasa. Pictures don’t do

Had the opportunity to play last year, best course I’ve ever played. I used to say spyglass was my favorite course I’ve ever played until I played here. If you’ve play here, get a caddie, easily saved me 10 strokes. Whoever gave this less than 5 stars should not be allowed to rat
