Big Island
Mauna Lani South Course
Lava-rock resort / coastal
Mauna Lani South is the other Big Island must-play for most groups. The 13th and 15th are the postcard moments, but the better reason to play it is the full lava-and-coast rhythm. It gives the trip coastal drama without requiring you to leave the Kohala Coast.

Played the south course. Great course! Prepaid my round for 2 golfers. When I got there they adjusted for junior rate and rentals which I didnt expect. Very playable course and conditions were excellant.

We played on North course. The course is great layout and some challenging. But the greens are very slow. I don’t know the differences between tee boxes and greens. That’s why I gave 3 stars.

What a great golfing experience. The most beautiful course we have played even though the greens were still healing from being punched. Great grass everywhere, even the rough. Tough course and experience here helps a lot. Staff pleasant and attentive. Amazing how they built this
