Maui
The King Kamehameha Golf Club
Private upcountry / mountain views
King Kamehameha is the private-access wrinkle. Excellent if real, irrelevant if not. Do not let it distort the normal Maui plan.

We don't play golf but wanted to visit the state-of-the art King Kamehameha Golf Club on Maui. We were positively surprised that the main building was open to the public. It accommodates a polynesian art collection.
