Maui
Kapalua Plantation Course
Mountain / ocean-view resort championship
Plantation is the reason Maui belongs in a golf conversation. It is huge, windy, scenic, and a little strange in the best way. The 18th is the fantasy drive hole, where gravity briefly pretends to be your swing coach. Play it with humility or prepare to meet the trade winds personally.

A course as beautiful as it is difficult, it’ll make you want to cry. If you always seem to find water (like me…), my best advice is to bring a few extra sleeves of balls and force yourself to truly appreciate the gorgeousness of this course no matter how ugly your scorecard may

Kapalua Plantation Course is pricey, but it is worth every penny. The golf experience is awesome. The course was incredibly great condition even though it was really dry. Every single hole is something special except hole 2. The course provides an impressive challenge with amazi

I was very skeptical about how good Plantation would be given the historical hype/reputation and the recent closure and news of poor conditions. Played December 1st and it was amazing!! Conditions were PGA level, views are insane and the course was hard but super fun and unique.
