St. George
Wolf Creek
Extreme desert / canyon spectacle
Wolf Creek is ridiculous. That is the point. It is not trying to be Sand Hills. It is trying to make your phone storage nervous. Play it once with the right attitude and the right tee box, but do not pay peak Black Desert money for it without knowing exactly why.

Bucket-list visuals and one-time insanity

Course intelligence
What you need to know
Strengths
- Unforgettable visuals
- Wild elevation
- Group-photo energy
- True bucket-list oddity
Watch-outs
- Slow rounds can happen
- Not subtle
- Punishes casual players
- Mesquite detour
- Expensive at peak
- Annual overseed timing matters
Signature holes
2, 5, 14, 17
Book it right
Cost, access, and timing
Green fees
Highly dynamic; shoulder can be excellent value, while peak winter can push into premium-resort territory without Black Desert's included-food/caddie structure.
Best season
Best window: November-April, with March-April as peak demand Summer reality: Very hot and exposed; book 7 a.
Replay priority
Medium
Booking move
Anchor Black Desert, Sand Hollow, and Wolf Creek first.

I have been very lucky in life to have played multiple Top 100 courses - including Pebble & Spyglass. There is not a more fun, better golf course than Wolf Creek. Wow. The views, the holes, the condition… unbelievable. It’s a shame the PGA Tour can’t logistically play here.

Amazing golf course with spectacular views on each hole. I give it an "A" instead of an "A+" only because the carts had no GPS and were gas powered. With the steep inclines and declines on the path, the carts struggled to go up hill and often the brakes would lock downhill and

Absolutely awesome track. Best I’ve played in Mesquite so far. We came on a day with not great conditions and were offered rain check that luckily we didn’t have to take.
Staff was super cool, great pro shop, and the golf and views were amazing. Very well taken care of course. W
