Mississippi Gulf Coast
Mossy Oak Golf Club
Modern inland architecture
Mossy Oak is the architecture play. Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner built something open, strategic, walkable, and very different from casino-resort golf. It belongs in the Mississippi conversation, but it is not really a Gulf Coast day trip for most groups.

Mossy Oak and Old Waverly are awesome places to stay and play golf. Claire at Mossy Oak was exceptional at helping us with our group of 24 golfers. I can’t recommend this place enough. Course was immaculate!!!

When most golfers think of golf in Mississippi, they are probably thinking of the Gulf Coast and the Biloxi area. But if you want to experience the best golf in the state, you’ll need to head about four hours north, past Jackson and Hattiesburg, to the little town of West Point,
