Austin & San Antonio
La Cantera Resort Course
Hill Country resort
The Resort Course has history, views, and a very easy San Antonio fit. It is now the La Cantera golf product. The Palmer Course closed permanently in 2021, so older guides that sell La Cantera as a two-course setup are stale. The Resort Course is not the hardest course in the region, but it is one of the more sensible choices for a group staying near La Cantera.

Our local club was closed for a tournament so a group of us played at LaCantera. The staff was very friendly and the driving range and course were is great shape. Greens were at a decent speed. We wore shorts on February 15--whats not to like?

This course is no where near worth the price point. I understand if they want to keep locals away to keep it available for resort guests. I played there on September 12. 200 dollars per person. I would say this is a decent 85-100 a round course. Played the tips. 16 tee box i
