Twisted Dune
Public dunes-inspired golf
Twisted Dune is the fun weird one. It is not true links golf, but the sand, scale, wind, and visual movement give it a personality that most casino-market courses do not have. The design can feel manufactured in places, but at least it has a point of view. Plenty of public courses in casino markets cannot clear that bar.

Twisted Dune was tougher than I expected, but once I found my rhythm, it turned into a really fun round. The course is beautiful, with a true links-style layout and great conditions. We had a minor issue early on with a ranger concerned about pace of play, though we were actually

One of my favorite courses in New Jersey! I played Twisted Dune many times, year-round, back when I was a member of Empire Golf. Always in great shape, it can be long and difficult, but a fun experience every time. We played it many times in the winter when our central NJ courses
